Polymeric Ferric Sulfate (PFS) is an innovative, high-efficiency inorganic polymeric flocculant with the chemical formula [Fe₂(OH)ₙ(SO₄)₃₋ₙ/₂]ₘ. This reddish-brown viscous liquid offers superior performance compared to traditional coagulants like ferrous sulfate or ferric chloride.

PFS generates polynuclear hydroxyl complexes with high positive charge density during hydrolysis.
