Diatomaceous Earth (DE) is a naturally occurring, biogenic siliceous sedimentary rock formed from fossilized skeletal remains of diatoms (single-celled aquatic algae). This versatile product appears as a white, off-white, or light yellow lightweight powder with exceptional physical properties including porous structure (80-90% porosity), high specific surface area, strong adsorption capacity, excellent chemical stability, low density, and low hardness.
