Polyaluminium Chloride (PAC), with the chemical formula [Al₂(OH)ₙCl₆₋ₙ]ₘ, is a high-efficiency inorganic polymeric coagulant that exists in an intermediate state between AlCl₃ and Al(OH)₃. This product features a highly charged, polynuclear complex structure formed through hydroxyl bridge polymerization, making it a core chemical in modern water treatment technology.

Core Applications
Drinking Water Purification: As the preferred coagulant for water treatment plants, PAC efficiently removes suspended particles, colloidal substances, microorganisms, natural organic matter, and heavy metals. The resulting flocs are coarse and dense with excellent settling properties, while residual aluminum content remains controllable and compliant with national drinking water standards.
Industrial & Municipal Wastewater Treatment: PAC demonstrates strong versatility in treating various industrial wastewaters from papermaking, textile dyeing, electroplating, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and petrochemicals. It effectively breaks emulsions, removes phosphorus, reduces COD, and eliminates heavy metal ions through charge neutralization and adsorption bridging.
Paper Industry Applications: Used extensively as a neutral sizing precipitant and retention/drainage aid, PAC improves fine fiber and filler retention, enhances paper formation and strength, and reduces white water concentration while saving raw materials.
