Sodium Nitrite Industrial Grade
Chemical Formula: NaNO₂ - White to slightly yellow crystals, granules, or powder with strong oxidizing properties, decomposition under acidic conditions, and reactivity with amines.

Metalworking & Heat Treatment
- Molten Salt Bath Nitriding: Key component in nitrate molten salt baths for QPQ salt bath treatment and black oxide finishing
- Surface Enhancement: Forms dense magnetite (Fe₃O₄) or nitride layers to improve wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and fatigue strength
- Vapor Phase Corrosion Inhibitor: Protects metal products in enclosed spaces from atmospheric corrosion
Industrial Water Systems
- Closed-Circuit Cooling Water: Classic anodic inhibitor for central air conditioning and engine cooling systems
- Corrosion Prevention: Forms protective magnetite (γ-Fe₂O₃) film on carbon steel surfaces, preventing general and pitting corrosion
